Restoration of Historic Coral Rock Residence in Miami Beach

Coral Rock House

Representation of owners of the historic Coral Rock House in Miami Beach, handling their applications, approvals, and permitting for restoration of the original structure, demolition of a later addition, and construction of a new adjacent four-story mixed-use complex. The controversial project received significant local media attention. Built in 1915, the property is one of the last remaining coral rock houses in Miami Beach and was once home to Avery Smith, who established the first ferry service between Miami and Miami Beach.
