Writ of Mandamus Obtained in Historic Landmark Property Dispute

900 Collins Avenue, LLC

Representation of 900 Collins Avenue in its efforts to build a multimillion-dollar development on a property with a protected historic building. We successfully obtained a writ of mandamus requiring the City of Miami Beach to issue a permit allowing the demolition of the historic structure, which the City had declared unsafe, thus helping our client to avoid more than $1 million in repairs that the City had previously ordered and enabling the client to proceed with a multimillion-dollar development on the property.
