Local counsel for Ericsson, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of radio systems and cellular technologies headquartered in Sweden, in connection with its contracts to implement one of the largest and most complex 800 MHz public radio systems in the country. Represented Ericsson regarding Nextel's $70 million re-banding of the largest and most complex 800 MHz spectrum for public safety users in Miami, which involved moving Ericsson to a different band on the spectrum. A mandate from the Federal Communications Commission regarding necessary infrastructure upgrades made the issue more pressing.
