Served as co-counsel to BBVA Bancomer, S.A., the largest secured creditor in the Chapter 11 case of Cinemex, a luxury movie-theater chain with locations throughout the United States. Client was owed over $100 million by Cinemex and its affiliates. Obtained favorable settlement of BBVA’s claim in the Chapter 11 case, which involved allowing Cinemex to reorganize.
