Representation of steel mill developer for a steel mill project located on a former Air Force base in Florida. Counsel covered significant natural resources work, including wetlands consideration, protected species, tree permitting, and the preservation of pine rockland habitat, in addition to environmental assessment and remediation of chemicals related to the unique prior Air Force base use of the property. Also advised on land use and zoning entitlement of the steel mill, including site plan approval and variance public hearing.
