Jeffrey Snyder Elected to Bankruptcy Bar Association's Board of Directors
MIAMI, FL – Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod is pleased to announce that Business Finance & Restructuring Partner Jeffrey Snyder was elected to the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida's Board of Directors for a three-year term.
Jeffrey has been actively involved with the Bankruptcy Bar Association since becoming a member in 2006, and served as Meetings and Programs Committee Chair from 2012-2013.
Jeffrey is a seasoned restructuring and bankruptcy lawyer, who represents all constituencies in sophisticated bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court workouts, including debtors, trustees, secured creditors, landlords, unsecured creditors, creditors' committees and potential purchasers of assets. In 2014, Jeffrey was named a “Rising Star" by Law360, as a top Bankruptcy attorney under 40 whose accomplishments belie his age. Jeffrey was selected as one of only eight bankruptcy attorneys nationwide.
Additionally, in 2012 Jeffrey was selected as one of 40 "up-and-coming" bankruptcy attorneys nationwide to participate in the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges "Next Generation Program," designed to host up-and-coming bankruptcy practitioners with five to 10 years of experience who demonstrate legal excellence in the practice of bankruptcy law.
Established in 1980, the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida is the largest voluntary association of bankruptcy professionals in the Southern District of Florida. With hundreds of members, the BBASDFL organizes events to assist lawyers and judges in their work, and sponsors initiatives to improve the bankruptcy system for the public.
