Scott L. Baena Appointed to Florida Board of Bar Examiners
MIAMI, FL – Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod is pleased to announce that Scott L. Baena was appointed to the Florida Board of Bar Examiners for a five-year term by the Florida Supreme Court. Scott was one of six nominees for the position proposed to the Court by the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar. Scott's term will begin on November 1, 2014.
The Florida Board of Bar Examiners is an administrative agency of the Florida Supreme Court that coordinates and supervises bar admission in the state of Florida. The Board promulgates, administers and scores the Bar Examination, as well as screens all candidates for character and fitness.
Scott is the Chair of the Business Finance & Restructuring practice group at Bilzin Sumberg. He is a nationally recognized restructuring practitioner who has received, among numerous other distinctions, the highest ranking in Restructuring & Bankruptcy by the esteemed legal publication Chambers USA since the publication's inaugural year in Florida.
