Kayla M. Hernandez Honored in Lawyers of Color’s 2023 Hot List
Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg congratulates Kayla M. Hernandez on being recognized on Lawyers of Color’s annual Hot List. This list recognizes junior- and mid-level attorneys working for law firms, companies, and government agencies, who show promise in their career field and demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing diversity in the legal profession. Attorneys chosen for the list will be honored at a reception on July 19, 2023, in Washington, D.C., and profiled in the Hot List 2023 issue.
Kayla’s inclusion in Lawyers of Color’s Hot List is a reflection of her extensive engagement in organizations and activities that promote diversity within the profession, including the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Pathfinder leadership program for young attorneys, the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and her participation in Bilzin Sumberg’s long-standing educational partnership with the Street Law Legal Diversity Pipeline Program, which seeks to introduce students from underrepresented communities to the legal system and wider legal profession, by connecting them to practitioners from local law firms.
Kayla is a member of Bilzin Sumberg’s Litigation Practice Group, where she handles commercial litigation, antitrust, and arbitration matters spanning many industries, including the real estate and automotive industries.
