Sara Barli Herald Receives PhilanthropyMiami’s Hank Raattama Community Champion Award

The Hank Raattama Community Champion Award is presented to individuals whose leadership and service reflect Raattama’s enduring values of hard work, civic engagement, and compassion for others. Sara was presented the award by David Lawrence at PhilanthropyMiami’s annual Donor Next Door celebration, which honors individuals, families, and organizations whose generosity strengthens nonprofit missions and drives meaningful impact across Greater Miami. 

Sara Barli Herald is a Partner at Bilzin Sumberg whose legal practice spans public-private partnerships, affordable housing, real estate, banking, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations. She was a founding board member of both Alonzo Mourning Charities and the Overtown Youth Center. She currently serves on the board of Breakthrough Miami and as a founding board member of the CARE School supporting under-resourced students to pursue educational success. Her personal mission is to effectuate systemic change to ensure all young people actualize their potential.
