As part of the firm’s Trial & Litigation Group, Megan Barney supports the firm’s dispute resolution teams on various facets of commercial litigation matters. Megan’s work covers a broad array of business disputes, including breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of trade secrets, contract disputes, and franchising, among others. Her experience also includes advice on pre-litigation negotiations and pre-trial strategy.

What trait do you possess that is particularly helpful in the matters you handle?
Identifying a client’s key concerns and tailoring case strategy to address those concerns effectively. As a dedicated advocate for clients, I work with my team to analyze a case from all perspectives—considering the legal and strategic implications of every development in a matter, while keeping the client’s perspective at the forefront.
