Q & A
What attracted you to practice in Bilzin Sumberg’s Public-Private Partnerships Group?
As a native Floridian, I greatly appreciate Bilzin Sumberg as a key player in negotiating the public-private partnerships (P3s) that are shaping the state. The firm has handled some of the most transformative and complex P3 projects in Florida, from passenger rail lines connecting the state’s major cities to new city halls, educational campuses, and transit-oriented developments. I’m proud to be part of a team that is deeply invested in the growth and development of my home state.
Outside of your core practice area, what other legal work do you value?
I am deeply involved in family law pro bono work, particularly as it relates to protecting vulnerable individuals. Given my passion for impactful pro bono counsel, Bilzin Sumberg has served as a rewarding professional home for me given its very robust pro bono program. The firm’s encouragement of younger attorneys investing in pro bono work supports the development of critical legal skills- like effectively advocating on behalf of clients- which are readily transferrable to other non-pro bono matters.
