Patricia M. Patino
Patty Patino focuses her practice on assisting clients in complex business disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration forums. Patty’s breadth of experience in connection with business disputes covers breach of contract, commercial torts, class action defense, and appellate issues. She also has experience in product liability and antitrust matters. In the courtroom, Patty excels at the oral advocacy that is critical to achieving optimal outcomes for clients.
Before entering private practice, Patty served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jay P. Cohen at Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal, where she was responsible for researching and recommending the disposition of issues raised in civil appeals, including issues common to business litigation such as jurisdiction, contract and statutory interpretation, damages, and attorneys’ fees.
