$590 Million Financing of Miami Design District Properties and Restructuring

Representation of Miami Design District Associates, a real estate developer, in a $590 million international financing with a $490 million mortgage loan from lenders including major leading multi-national banks Deutsche Bank, Credit Agricole Commercial and Industrial Bank and Bank of China, and a $100 million mezzanine loan from a Blackstone affiliate. Shortly before maturity of the loans, both loans were restructured to accommodate the acquisition of the mezzanine loan by affiliates of the borrower and the addition of new lenders into the mortgage loan syndicate.
