Bilzin Sumberg represents lenders and investors including venture capital and private equity firms, hedge funds, investment and mezzanine funds, investment and commercial banks, financial services companies and alternative lending sources, in virtually every type of financial transaction.

The firm's attorneys routinely handle large, complex lending and other financial and commercial transactions throughout the U.S. and abroad, including cash flow and working capital financings, asset-based lending, mortgage warehouse and repurchase facilities, letters of credit, subordinated and mezzanine debt, inter-creditor arrangements, leasing/floor plan financings, hedging and other derivative transactions, and the restructuring and reorganization of debtors, typically in high-profile matters both inside and outside of bankruptcy proceedings.

The firm's litigation group has successfully represented companies in lawsuits throughout the United States, in cases that in the aggregate had billions of dollars at stake. Clients in the mortgage, banking, insurance, financial advisory and asset management industries, among others, regularly retain us to assist them in their most significant and complex litigation matters. The firm handles every aspect of the litigation process: pre-litigation risk management; review and investigation of pre-litigation demands; and active litigation or arbitration matters through trial and appeal when necessary.
