Successful representation of Related Group in the submission of an unsolicited proposal to the City of Hollywood for the redevelopment of a public 4-acre oceanfront property. Counseled the client through its response to the ensuing request for proposals, which was ultimately chosen as the winning proposal. Subsequent negotiation of a comprehensive agreement with the City and 99-year ground lease, which entails client developing a new community center, a renovated park, additional public parking, and a 135-unit condominium on the property, with the additional benefit to the City of approximately $1 billion in new revenue over the course of the 99-year lease.
