Representation of developer in the environmental, stormwater, pre-condemnation, and eminent domain issues associated with a scrap metal recycling facility in Miami, Florida. Handled the approval request from the Environmental Quality Control Board to allow the continued use of exfiltration trenches for stormwater management. Additionally, Miami-Dade County filed eminent domain proceedings to take a portion of the property for future expansion of its Metrorail system. Also handled the application for Administrative Modification from the Miami-Dade County Department of Planning & Zoning which sought modifications to the previously approved plan to permit the continued operation of the scrap metal recycling facility on the property.
