John C. Sumberg Appointed to Advisory Board of UM School of Architecture Graduate Program

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced that Managing Partner of the firm, John C. Sumberg, was appointed to a three-year term on the Advisory Board of the Master in Real Estate Development + Urbanism (MRED+U) program at the University of Miami's School of Architecture.

As a member of the Advisory Board, Mr. Sumberg joins a group of distinguished leaders in urban real estate who provide strategic planning advice to the Dean and program director.

With more than 35 years of experience in commercial real estate law, Mr. Sumberg represents foreign and domestic developers, investors and lenders in major real estate matters across the country and locally. In Miami, Mr. Sumberg is involved in numerous high-profile projects that are transforming the city's skyline, including the $1 billion redevelopment of the Miami Beach Convention Center, the renovation of the former Perry Hotel South Beach and the recently completed redevelopment of 1111 Lincoln Road, a mixed-use property comprised of office space, shops and restaurants on Lincoln Road in South Beach.
