Scott N. Wagner Named a "40 Under 40" Honoree by the Daily Business Review

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced today that Litigation Partner Scott N. Wagner was honored as one of the Daily Business Review's "40 Under 40." The awards recognize the most dynamic individuals under the age of 40 who are leading the next generation of legal industry luminaries. Winners will be honored at a reception on September 17.

As a Partner in the Litigation Group, Scott's practice focuses on complex litigation, including class actions, opt-outs and antitrust. He has represented clients in a wide variety of antitrust and competition matters. Scott’s experience includes representing large multinational corporations in criminal investigations and the defense of nationwide class actions, prosecuting opt-out claims on behalf of a Fortune 200 company, representing Fortune 100 and mid-market companies in complex FTC and state attorney general investigations and representing individuals in connection with DOJ criminal investigations.

Scott is also a key member of the Antirust group at the firm, where he has helped build the firm's Antitrust Group into one of the leading antitrust practices in South Florida, establishing Bilzin Sumberg as a go-to firm for plaintiffs-side opt-out antitrust cases on a national level. Scott's cumulative recovery for plaintiffs in antitrust actions broke the $100 million mark this year.

Scott was recently appointed to the American Bar Association's 2013-2014 Pre-Trial Practice and Discovery Committee on e-Discovery, as well as the Section of Antitrust Law 2013-2014 Civil Redress Committee, as a Young Lawyer Representative. He is also a member of the Dade County Bar Association and the LegalBiz Dev Project Management Advisory Board.
