Jessica Buchsbaum Honored As Recipient of NALP Service Excellence Award

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is proud to congratulate Jessica Buchsbaum, Bilzin Sumberg's Chief Legal Talent Officer, on being awarded the National Association for Law Placement's Service Excellence Award. The National Association for Law Placement (NALP) gives this award to NALP volunteers who go above and beyond what is expected of them to make notable contributions to the organization and its members.

Jessica is recognized for her exceptional leadership of NALP's Well-Being in the Recruiting Process Work Group in furtherance of NALP's Strategic Plan Goals of championing law student, lawyer, and member health and well-being. As part of a the work group, she led the development of practical new resources to support well-being in the student recruitment process, including a comprehensive Guide to Well-Being in the Recruitment Process and an Interviewer’s Quick Tip Sheet to help interviewers remain mindful of student well-being in virtual interviews. In addition, Jessica successfully led the working group in developing and hosting a November 2020 Town Hall on Well-Being in the Recruiting Process, which involved significant collaboration with the NALP Board and NALP’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Section.
