Diana C. Mendez Joins Bilzin Sumberg as Government Contracting and P3 Partner
Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce that Diana C. Mendez has joined the firm as a Partner in Bilzin Sumberg's Land Development & Government Relations Group, where she will be an integral part of the Government Contracting and Public-Private Partnerships (P3) team.

Diana possesses a strong track record of driving positive client outcomes on matters involving government administrative, procurement and transactional law. She counsels clients through all phases of the government procurement process - for both P3s and traditional public procurement - including advising and representing clients with teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, responsiveness and responsibility review, minority and disadvantaged business enterprise certifications, contract negotiations, and bid protest litigation.
Diana has been recognized since 2018 as a Rising Star in government contracts law by Super Lawyers Magazine. In 2020, she was also recognized by the Florida Association of Women Lawyers (FAWL) as a Miami-Dade FAWL Leader in the Law. She is the President of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the founding president of Miami’s Next Leaders, and a former member of the Miami-Dade County Commission for Women.
