Zoning Amendment Counsel for Archdiocese of Miami Properties
Archdiocese of Miami
Representation of the Archdiocese of Miami in an effort to amend Miami 21 to provide additional height and intensity for Archdiocese-owned properties located in the City of Miami, Florida. Services included reviewing the Miami 21 zoning code as it affects the properties and meeting with City of Miami staff, including the Planning and Zoning Director, to negotiate any amendments. The firm obtained unanimous City of Miami Commission approval of a settlement of the Archdiocese's Bert J. Harris claim, originally filed in 2013, approving a Development Agreement that grants the Archdiocese additional development rights.
