Large Transit-Oriented P3 Development in Miami-Dade County
Local Non-Profit Organization
Representation of a local non-profit organization and its development partner in connection with the $200 million transit-oriented redevelopment of a public lot adjacent to a major mass transit node, which will include more than 1,000 new residential units, including workforce housing, military housing, and housing for young adults aging out of the foster care system, in addition to improvements to the existing Metrorail station and a new 1,300 space parking garage. The development takes the form of a public-private partnership with Miami-Dade County involving 90-year ground leases for the residential components.
