Richard M. Goldstein Appointed to 2010 Board of Directors of The Voices for Children Foundation
Miami, FL Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP announced that Richard M. Goldstein, Chair of the firm's Tax Group and Co-Chair of the Wealth Transfer Group, was recently appointed to the 2010 Board of Directors of the Voices For Children Foundation. Mr. Goldstein chairs the Tax Group and co-chairs the Wealth Transfer Group at Bilzin Sumberg.
He focuses his practice on complex tax planning and structuring involving corporate mergers and acquisitions, as well as matters involving partnerships and limited liability companies. Mr. Goldstein has represented numerous family businesses, U.S. residents and non-resident aliens, multi-national entities and both publicly and privately-held companies. In addition to maintaining a thriving practice, he also lectures frequently throughout the state of Florida on tax and estate planning issues with respect to closely-held businesses. Apart from his legal experience, Richard also serves on the 2010 Board of Directors for The Key Biscayne Community Foundation.
The mission of the Voices For Children Foundation is to raise funds to ensure that every abused and neglected child in Miami-Dade County has a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem -- a special court-appointed guardian who acts on behalf of minors, and that financial assistance and other resources are available for their accompanying health, educational, and social needs. Bilzin Sumberg Cares, the firm's community outreach program is fully involved in the mission of the Voices For Children Foundation and has provided services in the efforts to assist in fulfilling this mission.
