Lawdragon's 500 Leading Litigators in America
Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce that Robert Turken, Senior Trial & Litigation Partner, and Scott Wagner, Trial & Litigation Practice Group Leader and Co-Head of the firm’s Antitrust Practice, have been named to Lawdragon’s prestigious 500 Leading Litigators in America for 2026 in recognition of their expertise and success in the fields of complex litigation and antitrust litigation. The guide features the top 500 litigators nationally. Bob and Scott were named to the list for the fourth consecutive year.
Bilzin Sumberg’s Antitrust Practice has achieved national recognition with Bob, Scott, and fellow Antitrust Practice Co-Head Lori Lustrin’s groundbreaking results representing well-known national and international clients in litigation throughout the country. The team has been involved in many high profile opt-out antitrust cases, consistently obtaining extraordinary results for clients that are multiples of the recoveries realized by classes and other opt-out plaintiffs--including the largest recovery in history for an antitrust opt-out plaintiff.
Robert Turken has earned a distinguished reputation serving as lead counsel in numerous complex and high profile matters. He has vast experience representing clients in multidistrict class actions and antitrust opt-out actions related to price fixing and conspiracy claims. His significant representations have also covered securities litigation and financial services litigation.
Scott Wagner is a veteran litigator of high-stakes disputes. He maintains a thriving antitrust and complex litigation practice. Scott’s international practice includes representing electronics distributors and manufacturers, as well as food and beverage companies, throughout the world on competition and antitrust issues. Scott also serves as trusted counsel to public and private companies, entrepreneurs and developers, rendering high-level legal and strategic advice on matters related to business competition and antitrust issues.
Lawdragon takes into account courtroom victories as part of its annual assessment of candidates. Most recently, Bilzin Sumberg achieved a high-profile litigation victory on behalf of a film industry investor in a high-stakes fraud case against a Canadian film producer. After successfully defeating numerous pretrial challenges, the firm led the case to trial in the Southern District of Florida, where a jury returned a swift verdict in under 30 minutes, awarding $6.5 million in compensatory damages and $13 million in punitive damages to Bilzin Sumberg’s client. The verdict was then affirmed in full by the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Litigators in America” guide compiles honorees through editorial research, submissions, and nominations to highlight top legal professionals.
