Q & A
Describe an experience that has influenced your career as a litigator.
My clerkship for an appellate judge has provided the foundation for my career. Having seen why judges make their decisions, I have a better understanding of how to present my case, my client, and myself to the court, both in terms of substance and style.
What's your approach to litigating complex issues?
I try to immerse myself into the business or industry at issue, whatever it may be. Often times, I'm working with expert witnesses, and I'm working so closely with them that it's my goal to know as much as they do about the topic.
