Representation of Sunstone Hotel Investors in the $126 million acquisition of the Royal Palm Hotel through a foreclosure auction and the purchase of a B participation interest immediately before the foreclosure auction in August of 2010. Then in 2011 represented the client in the sale of the hotel to KSL Investment Group and related purchase money financing. In 2015 represented Chesapeake Lodging Trust in its $265 million acquisition of the hotel post renovation.
