2013 Chambers USA Guide Ranks 50% of Bilzin Sumberg Partners Across 11 Practice Areas

Press Release
May 30, 2013

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP is proud to announce that half of the firm's partners have been recognized in the 2013 edition of Chambers USA. The Chambers USA guide annually ranks preeminence in key practice areas and achievements of law firms and lawyers throughout the country considering complexity of work, firm growth and client service.

This year, Bilzin Sumberg was once again ranked Band 1, the highest ranking a law firm can receive, in three categories: Bankruptcy/Restructuring, Real Estate and Zoning/Land Use. Attorneys were also recognized in the categories of Antitrust, Banking & Finance: Transactional, Construction, Corporate/M&A & Private Equity, Environment, Litigation: General Commercial, Litigation: White Collar Crime & Government Investigations and Tax.

Bilzin Sumberg's Antitrust practice is new to the rankings this year. According to Chambers USA 2013: "The team's experience cuts across all areas of antitrust law, with an emphasis on litigation. Notably, it represented Tech Data and the bankruptcy estate of All American Semiconductor as opt-out plaintiffs in the LCD antitrust action. Sources say: 'They just take the ball and run with it - they've been fantastic.'"

Chambers USA sources described the firm's litigation department as "an exceptionally well-qualified law firm." Another source said, "I could sing its praises all day."
