Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce four attorneys have been elected to the firm's partnership. Effective January 1, 2020, Litigators Kenneth Duvall and Adrian Felix, Real Estate, Corporate, and Land Development & Government Relations attorney Sara B. Herald, and Public-Private Partnerships attorney Andrej Micovic will become the firm's newest partners.
Kenneth Duvall focuses his commercial litigation practice on defending banks and lenders in financial services litigation, as well as on disputes arising from Director and Officer (D&O) liability claims. He has litigated and appeared in federal and state courts across the country and is committed to delivering positive results to his commercial and pro bono clients. Adrian K. Felix focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation across various industries, including construction, franchising, financial services, and hospitality. As part of his practice, he regularly litigates a variety of business disputes, such as breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, deceptive and unfair trade practices, enforcement of restrictive covenants, project delays, and lien claims, for domestic and international clients. He also has significant experience assisting real estate owners and developers in the management of distressed construction projects, as well as helping clients to navigate issues related to the multifaceted legal relationship between franchisors and franchisees. Adrian obtained his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and has been recognized as an "Up & Comer" by the South Florida Legal Guide.
