The project's financing involved the federal New Markets Tax Credits Program which encourages investment in low-income communities. The large commercial laundry facility helps further Goodwill's mission of providing employment and training opportunities for people with disabilities and is anticipated to position Goodwill as a strong new player in the healthcare service industry.
