Affordable and Workforce Housing P3 at Jackson Memorial Medical Center
Successful representation of Related Urban Development Group (RUDG), an affordable and workforce housing developer, in connection with a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development of a mixed-income, mixed-use, transit oriented development (TOD) on property owned by Miami-Dade County adjacent to a heavy rail transit station. The representation included the public procurement process and resulting contract negotiations with the Miami-Dade County Public Health Trust, including the negotiation of a 99-year ground lease and development agreement. The project includes affordable and workforce housing units, including units for medical workers, a public parking garage to be developed in partnership with the City of Miami Parking Authority (MPA), a hotel, and retail uses.
