This recognition honors women who demonstrate leadership, professional excellence, community engagement and mentorship. Honorees are selected through peer nomination and editorial review based on their impact across Florida's legal profession.
Jennifer J. Wioncek is Practice Group Leader for the firm's Tax & Private Wealth Group. Her practice covers a broad range of areas, including international and domestic tax and estate planning, pre-immigration and expatriation tax planning, private trust company structuring, cross-border estate administration and tax structuring for real estate funds with foreign investors. She is active in The Florida Bar Tax Section and the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, having received the Geoffrey Shindler Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Profession. Jennifer is a longtime adjunct professor in the University of Miami School of Law's Taxation LLM program and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), an invitation-only organization recognizing the nation’s most distinguished trust and estate attorneys.
Kelly Ruane Melchiondo is a Partner in the firm's Construction Law & Litigation Group. Kelly handles complex construction litigation in state and federal courts. She also co-chairs the firm’s Associate Training Committee, where she is building a firm-wide curriculum focused on practical legal training. During her career, she has built a strong product liability defense practice tied to construction issues. Civically, Kelly is President-Elect of the Board of the Miami Children's Museum and has served on its board for more than a decade.
Diana C. Mendez is a Partner in the firm's public-private partnerships and government contracting team, where she advises clients across industries on all aspects of government procurement, including procurement strategy, bid preparation, contract negotiations, and bid protests. This year, Diana was appointed Chair of Miami- Dade County's Special Task Force to Reduce Inefficiencies in Procurement, helping eliminate roadblocks to major county projects, as well as Vice-Chair of the ABA Steering Committee for the Model Procurement Code Revision Project. Also dedicated to public service, Diana was the president of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers and continues to be involved in the organization.
