Successful Resolution of 25 Related Lawsuits for Historic South Beach Hotel

Representation of Historic South Beach Hotel in resolving numerous litigation matters, including claims by condo association and unit owners alleging breach of contract, construction defects, misrepresentation and fraud, and claims by architectural firm and general contractor. Dealt with several insurance carriers who were threatening to deny coverage. Our resolution of the 25 separate suits allowed the client to move forward with the $200 million in renovations to the property, which will include a mixed-use project consisting of 417 hotel rooms, 163 condo units, retail space, food and beverage venues, swimming pools, spa, fitness center, and private beach.
