Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is proud to congratulate partners Lori Lustrin, Howard E. Nelson, Melissa Pallett-Vasquez, Robert W. Turken, and Scott N. Wagner, on being featured in the inaugural edition of Daily Business Review's (DBR) Florida Trailblazers list. The publication highlights professionals who serve as agents of change and have made significant marks on policy and technological advancements of their practice.

Litigation partners Lori Lustrin and Melissa Pallett-Vasquez were profiled for their work on product labeling disputes, including their recent win in the defense of the makers of Vita Coco coconut water over alleged deceptive label claims regarding its origin.

Howard E. Nelson, environmental attorney, was instrumental in the passing of modifications to existing restrictions on wetland mitigation projects. The Florida Wetlands Mitigation Bill was approved this year and went into effect July 1.

Litigators Robert W. Turken, Scott N. Wagner, and Lori Lustrin have recovered hundreds of millions of dollars in price-fixing cases in the electronics industry and are working on antitrust cases in the food and beverage industry.

DBR held an open call for nominations and considered individuals from an array of different backgrounds, positions, and practice areas. A handful of individuals that demonstrated innovation and thought leadership were selected.
