Mitch has a broad commercial trial practice with extensive experience in numerous jury and non-jury cases. Among other civil matters, he handles litigation involving class actions, multi-district litigation, antitrust, probate and will contests, construction, intellectual property, partnership disputes, insurance, land use litigation, and bankruptcy preference and fraudulent transfers.
Mitch has been appointed more than 25 times by judges in Miami-Dade County to act as a Special Master for evidentiary hearings and discovery disputes, and he is consistently recognized by the industry's most well-respected journals and publications.

What makes a good lawyer?

A good lawyer has a deep understanding of the client's business and objectives. With that knowledge you use creativity and extremely hard work to achieve your client's goals. 

What do your clients appreciate most about working with you?

My level of communication and how intensely hard I will work every day to achieve their goals in the litigation. One of the most important things a lawyer does with a client is communicate to make sure the  client understands the status of their case every step of the way so they can assist in achieving the best possible result. 

How do you incorporate "giving back" into your role as a lawyer?

In 2004, my brother and I started The Keymorada Invitational Fishing Tournament to benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). The event has become one of the top fundraising fishing tournaments in the country. One of the things that makes this event so unique is the participation it garners from law firms all over the country. Each year roughly 200-300 firms from across the country participate in the tournament. The tournament has raised $5.6 million and helped fund the first-ever Crohn's and Colitis Center of South Florida which now helps hundreds of people inflicted with these diseases.

Obtained a full victory at trial on behalf of Lennar Corporation, one of the nation's leading homebuilders, turning a $30 million fraud and misrepresentation claim against our client into a $14 million victory in our client's favor.
